Deb was greatful that Ryan came to get her, if he hadn’t then one of the staff members would have and Deb was happy for the break away from them. She managed to go the whole car ride to the hospital without throwing up which she was sure Ryan appreciated. Once inside she was informed the doctor from the rehab center already called in her information and didn’t have to wait in the ER but instead was admitted right away upstairs.
After some blood work and questions the doctor on call started her on an IV of some type of medication, that was supposed to be save for the baby, to help stop the sickness. She hadn’t been this sick with Jessa and she hoped it ended soon. The medication was making her kind of sleepy but she was fighting the urge. “What do you mean your leaving the country tomorrow?” she asked Ryan who was the only other person in the room at the moment.
Ryan sat in the chair next to her bed. He was worried, maybe more then a little bit right now for the both of them. He didn’t know anything about babies or being pregnant but he knew that this wasn’t a good thing. Hospital visits never were. He was sick of them and if he never had to see one again it would be too soon. He looked up at Deb when she asked her question and frowned. “They have me on a press juncket for the movies. It’s sort of turned into a general juncket given I have 3 movies out and the new season started but I’m supposed to be in Australia first thing tomorrow.” He knew she wasn’t going to be happy with him and he wasn’t exactly looking forward to it given everything that was happening right now. “I’m sorry. I didn’t know about it until last night and then you called about needing to come to the Hospital and it’s bad timing but I can’t exactly say no.”
